Turn on the Wii console
Open the SD card slot cover on the front of the Wii
Press the red SYNC button inside the SD card slot cover
Open the battery cover on the Wii Remote
Press the red SYNC button inside the battery compartment
Wait for the lights on the Wii Remote to stop flashing and stay lit
Repeat the sync process for any additional Wii Remotes
If needed, press the red SYNC button on the Wii console again and retry the sync process
