Open Control Panel
Go to Programs and Features
Uninstall Brother utilities, status monitor, ControlCenter, and other Brother software
Keep the Brother printer driver installed
Open Device Manager
Expand Printers or Print queues
Right-click the Brother printer
Select Uninstall device only if it removes software components, then reinstall the driver if needed
Go to Settings
Open Apps
Uninstall Brother apps you do not want
Keep the printer driver package
Open Services
Stop Brother-related services
Set Brother-related services to Manual or Disabled
Open Task Manager
Go to the Startup tab
Disable Brother startup items
Open the printer properties
Remove Brother status monitor or tray utilities from startup if present
Delete Brother shortcuts from the Start menu or desktop
Restart the computer
Confirm the printer still appears in Printers and scanners
Confirm printing still works
If needed, reinstall only the Brother driver package without extra software
