Open the Start menu and search for Control Panel
Open Control Panel
Go to Hardware and Sound
Click Power Options
Click Choose what the power buttons do
Click Change settings that are currently unavailable
Under Shutdown settings, uncheck Turn on fast startup
Click Save changes
Restart the computer
If needed, enter BIOS or UEFI setup during startup
Find the Fast Boot setting
Set Fast Boot to Disabled
Save changes and exit BIOS or UEFI
