Check whether the live video is your own or publicly available
Open the Facebook Live video
Click the three-dot menu on the video
Select Download video if the option is available
If it is your own live video, go to your Facebook Page or profile’s Video/Live section
Open the saved live video
Click the three-dot menu
Select Download video
If no download option appears, use Facebook’s built-in Save video option for later viewing
If you need a copy of your own live video, use Meta Business Suite or Facebook’s Download Your Information tool
Follow the prompts to request and download your data
Avoid using unauthorized third-party download tools for videos you do not own or have permission to download
