Let the wax harden completely
Scrape off excess wax with a dull knife or credit card
Place a paper towel or brown paper bag over the wax
Use a warm iron on low heat over the paper towel
Move the paper towel as the wax transfers
Repeat with clean paper towels until no more wax comes out
Wash the fabric according to the care label
If any stain remains, apply a stain remover before washing
For delicate fabrics, use a hair dryer on low heat instead of an iron
For upholstery, scrape first and blot with a warm cloth or paper towel
Test heat on a hidden area before treating the fabric
