Plug in the Fire Stick and turn on the TV
Put batteries in the remote
Wait for the remote to pair automatically
If it does not pair, press and hold the Home button for 10 seconds
Keep the remote close to the Fire Stick
If needed, unplug the Fire Stick for 10 seconds and plug it back in
Try holding the Home button again
If still not paired, replace the batteries
If using a replacement remote, make sure it is compatible with Fire TV
Use the Fire TV app if you need temporary control while pairing the remote
