Divide into two teams
Give each team a set of bocce balls
Toss the small target ball, called the pallino, onto the court
Decide which team throws first
The first team throws one bocce ball toward the pallino
The opposing team throws a ball, trying to get closer to the pallino
Keep alternating throws until all balls are played
The team with the closest ball to the pallino scores
Score one point for each of that team’s balls closer to the pallino than the opponent’s closest ball
Start the next round by throwing the pallino again
Continue playing until a team reaches the agreed winning score
