Decide the skirt length
Fold the fabric into quarters
Mark the waist radius using this formula: waist measurement ÷ 6.28
Mark the skirt length from the waist curve
Cut out the waist opening
Cut out the outer hem curve
Unfold the fabric
Finish the waist edge
Sew the side seam if needed
Hem the bottom edge
Add a waistband or elastic if desired
