Gather LEGO bricks, plates, wheels, and axles
Choose a flat base plate or rectangular brick base
Build the car body on top of the base
Attach wheel holders or axle pieces to the sides
Insert the axles through the wheel holders
Push the wheels onto the axles
Add a front section for the hood
Add a back section for the trunk
Build a roof if desired
Add windows, seats, and a steering wheel if desired
Check that the wheels spin freely
Adjust any loose or uneven pieces
Test the car by rolling it on a flat surface
