Choose the song you want to use
Make sure you have the song file on your device
Trim the song to a short clip if needed
Convert the file to a ringtone-compatible format if needed
On iPhone, open GarageBand or use iTunes/Finder to create a ringtone
On Android, move the file to the Ringtones folder if needed
Open your phone’s Settings
Tap Sound or Sounds and vibration
Tap Ringtone
Select the song or ringtone file
Save or confirm your choice
Set the ringtone for specific contacts if desired
