Brown 1 pound ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat
Drain excess fat
Add 1 chopped onion and cook until softened
Stir in 2 to 3 cloves minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds
Add 2 cups beef broth
Add 1 cup milk
Add 2 cups uncooked pasta
Add 1 tablespoon tomato paste
Add 1 teaspoon paprika
Add 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Add 1 teaspoon onion powder
Add 1 teaspoon salt
Add 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Bring to a boil
Reduce heat to low
Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender
Stir in 1 to 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Cook until cheese is melted
Serve hot
