Open the website in your browser
Click the browser menu or settings icon
Select More tools or Create shortcut
Enter a name for the shortcut if prompted
Check Open as window if available
Click Create
Drag the website icon from the address bar to the desktop
Or right-click the desktop and choose New > Shortcut
Paste the website URL into the location field
Click Next
Enter a shortcut name
Click Finish
