Open the Settings app on your iPhone
Tap Contacts
Tap Accounts
Tap Add Account
Select Google
Sign in with your Gmail account
Turn on Contacts
Tap Save
Open the Contacts app to sync and view your Gmail contacts
If needed, go to Settings
Tap Contacts
Tap Accounts
Select your Gmail account
Make sure Contacts is enabled
