Select the layer you want to animate
Press the shortcut for the property you want to keyframe
Click the stopwatch icon next to the property
Move the playhead to a different time
Change the property value
Repeat for additional keyframes
Use the Graph Editor or Keyframe Assistant if needed
Adjust keyframe timing by dragging keyframes in the timeline
