Select the chart in Excel
Click the Chart Elements button (+) next to the chart
Check the Chart Title box
Click the chart title box on the chart
Type the title you want
Press Enter
To change the title position, click the arrow next to Chart Title and choose an option
To format the title, right-click it and select Format Chart Title
