Open Fortnite
Go to the main menu
Open the Friends list
Select your profile or status option
Change your online status to Offline or Appear Offline if available
If the option is not available, set your Epic Games account status to Invisible in the Epic Games Launcher or Epic Games app
On console, set your platform status to Offline or Do Not Disturb
Restart Fortnite if the status does not update immediately
