Wash your hands thoroughly
Remove the cap from the ointment tube
Tilt your head back and look up
Gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a small pocket
Hold the tube close to the eye without touching the eye, eyelid, or eyelashes
Squeeze a small ribbon of ointment into the lower eyelid pocket
Release the lower eyelid and close the eye gently
Keep the eye closed for 1 to 2 minutes
Move the eye around gently to spread the ointment
Wipe away excess ointment from around the eye with a clean tissue
Replace the cap tightly
Wash your hands again
Follow the prescribed dosage and application schedule
