Remove old weather stripping and clean the door frame surface
Measure the top and side edges of the door frame
Cut the new weather stripping to fit each section
Test-fit the pieces before removing the adhesive backing
Start with the top edge and press the stripping firmly into place
Apply the side pieces next, aligning them tightly with the top piece
Ensure the stripping makes even contact with the door when closed
Trim any excess material as needed
Close and open the door to check for a proper seal
Adjust or reapply any loose sections if necessary
