Pat the drumsticks dry
Place the drumsticks on a baking sheet or in a baking dish
Brush or rub with oil
Season with salt, pepper, and any desired spices
Arrange in a single layer with space between pieces
Bake for 35 to 45 minutes
Turn the drumsticks halfway through baking
Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving
