Create two threats at once
Block the opponent’s fork opportunities
Use opposite corners to set up traps
Avoid giving the AI a free fork
Do not play randomly
Learn the standard opening patterns
Exploit any rule flaws or bugs in the game
If the AI is truly perfect, aim for a draw instead of a win
