Check your state/province requirements for dental assistant licensure or registration
Earn a high school diploma or GED
Complete an accredited dental assisting program (community college, vocational school, or technical school)
Complete required coursework (dental anatomy, radiology, infection control, chairside assisting, dental materials)
Complete hands-on clinical training through the program
