Open the Contacts app
Select the contact
Tap the three-dot menu
Tap Block numbers or Block contact
Confirm the block
Open the Messages app
Open the conversation
Tap the three-dot menu
Tap Block and report spam
Confirm the block
Open Settings
Tap Sound and vibration or Notifications, depending on device
Tap Do Not Disturb or Call blocking settings if available
Add numbers to block if supported by your phone app
Open the Phone app
Tap Settings
Tap Blocked numbers
Turn on Block unknown callers if available
Open the Phone app
Tap Settings
Tap Caller ID and spam
Turn on Filter spam calls if available
