Tap the sender’s name or number at the top
Tap Info
Tap Block this Caller
Confirm by tapping Block Contact
Turn on Filter Unknown Senders in Settings
Open Settings
Tap Messages
Turn on Filter Unknown Senders
Report junk messages when available
Open the message
Tap Report Junk
Delete the spam message
Avoid replying to spam texts
Avoid tapping links in suspicious messages
Update iPhone software regularly
Use your carrier’s spam-blocking tools if available
