Wash and dry your hands
Remove old polish
Trim and file nails to the desired shape
Use a clean, fine-grit nail buffer
Gently buff the nail surface in one direction or small light strokes
Smooth ridges and uneven areas
Buff the nail edges lightly if needed
Wipe away dust with a clean cloth
Apply cuticle oil or hand cream after buffing
Avoid over-buffing to prevent thinning the nails
