Measure the available space
Choose a stable base material
Gather plywood, carpet, sisal rope, screws, brackets, wood glue, and tools
Cut the base, platforms, and support posts to size
Sand all edges and surfaces
Assemble the base frame
Attach vertical support posts securely to the base
Wrap selected posts with sisal rope for scratching
Cut and attach platform pieces at different heights
Secure each platform with screws and brackets
Add ramps, steps, or cutouts if desired
Cover platforms with carpet or soft fabric
Ensure all fabric is tightly stapled or glued
Check that all joints are tight and stable
Test the condo for wobbling before use
Place the condo on a flat surface
Add cushions, blankets, or cat beds
Inspect regularly for loose screws or worn materials
