Drill holes in the shelf for ropes, cables, or rods if needed
Thread or attach the suspension hardware through the shelf
Hang the shelf from the installed anchors
Adjust the shelf to be level
Tighten all hardware and check stability
Test the shelf with light weight before full use
Add items gradually and stay within the weight limit
