How To Burn A CD?

Use a CD-R disc and a compatible CD burner

Install burning software (e.g., Windows Media Player, Nero, ImgBurn, or your system’s built-in burner)

Prepare the files you want to burn (data files or audio files) in a folder

Open the burning software and select the correct project type (data CD or audio CD)

Insert a blank CD-R into the burner

Add the files or select the audio tracks

Choose the finalization/close session option if available (for data: finalize; for audio: finalize/close)

Set the write speed to a moderate value (if there’s a speed option)

Set any required options (format, file system for data, audio disc type for music)

Click Burn/Write/Start

Wait for the burn to complete and confirm success

Eject the disc and test it in the target device/player
