Note the distance traveled from the trip meter
Refill the tank completely and record the amount of fuel added
Calculate mileage using the formula: mileage = distance traveled รท fuel used
Express the result in kilometers per liter or miles per gallon
For better accuracy, repeat the process over multiple full tanks and average the results
