RD interest is calculated on each monthly deposit separately
Use the formula: Interest = P × N × (N + 1) / 2 × R / (12 × 100)
P = monthly deposit amount
N = number of months
R = annual interest rate in percent
Total maturity amount = total deposits + total interest
Total deposits = monthly deposit × number of months
If interest is compounded quarterly or monthly, use the bank’s RD maturity formula or calculator
For exact maturity value, apply the rate and tenure as per the RD scheme rules
