Log in to your PayPal account
Go to Activity
Find the transaction
Check the transaction status
If the payment is pending or unclaimed, select Cancel
Confirm the cancellation
If the payment is completed, contact the recipient to request a refund
If the payment was sent to the wrong person, contact PayPal support
If the transaction is a subscription or automatic payment, go to Settings
Open Payments
Select Automatic payments
Choose the merchant
Cancel the agreement or subscription
Review your account to confirm the cancellation status
