Open Google Calendar
Click the event you want to cancel
Click the trash can icon or Delete
If prompted, choose whether to notify guests
Confirm the deletion
If you are not the organizer, ask the organizer to cancel it
On mobile, tap the event, then tap Delete or the trash icon
For recurring events, choose whether to delete only this event or all events in the series
