Press and hold Shift, then type the letter you want capitalized
Turn on Caps Lock by pressing Alt + Search or Launcher + Alt, depending on your Chromebook model
Use Shift with the number row for uppercase symbols
Release Shift after typing the capital letter
Check that Caps Lock is not enabled if letters stay uppercase
Use the on-screen keyboard and tap Shift for capital letters if needed
