How To Change A PDF On Mac?

Open the PDF in Preview

Click the Markup toolbar button

Use the text, highlight, shape, or signature tools to edit

Drag to move or resize added elements

Save the file with Command + S

Use File > Export as PDF if you want a new copy

If the PDF is scanned, use OCR in a compatible app before editing

Use Adobe Acrobat or another PDF editor for more advanced changes

To replace pages, use the thumbnail sidebar and drag pages as needed

To delete pages, select the page thumbnail and press Delete

To add pages, use Edit > Insert or drag in pages from another PDF

To change text directly, use a dedicated PDF editor

To annotate only, use Preview’s markup tools

To fill forms, click form fields and type in them

To sign documents, use the signature tool in Preview

To compress or convert the PDF, use File > Export or a PDF utility app
