Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
Tap Bluetooth
Make sure your AirPods are connected
Tap the info icon next to your AirPods
Tap Name
Enter the new name
Tap Done
On Mac, open System Settings
Click Bluetooth
Click the info icon next to your AirPods
Click Name
Type the new name
Press Return
On Android or other devices, rename the AirPods in the Bluetooth settings if the option is available
