Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
Tap Bluetooth
Make sure your AirPods are connected
Tap the info icon next to your AirPods
Tap Name
Enter the new name
Tap Done
On Mac, open System Settings
Click Bluetooth
Find your AirPods in the list
Click the info icon or right-click your AirPods
Select Rename
Enter the new name
Press Return or click Done
