Visit your current SBI branch or the branch you want to transfer your account to
Submit a written request for branch transfer
Carry your passbook, cheque book, debit card, and valid ID proof
Fill out the branch transfer form if required
Clear any pending dues, cheques, or standing instructions if asked
Submit the application to the bank officer
Wait for verification and approval from SBI
Collect updated passbook, cheque book, or account details from the new branch if issued
Check whether your internet banking, mobile banking, and ATM services remain active after the transfer
