Open the Facebook app or go to Facebook.com
Log in to your account
Tap/click your profile picture
Go to Settings and privacy
Select Settings
Tap/click Password and security
Choose Change password
Enter your current password
Enter your new password
Re-enter the new password to confirm
Tap/click Save changes
Review any prompts for additional verification (if shown)
If you can’t log in, go to Facebook.com/login/identify or use the “Forgot password?” link and follow the recovery steps
