Open the Instagram app or website
Go to the login screen
Tap Forgot password? or Get help logging in
Enter your username, email, or phone number
Choose the email or phone option to receive a login link or code
Open the link or enter the code
Log in to your account
Go to Settings and privacy
Tap Accounts Center
Tap Password and security
Tap Change password
Select your Instagram account
Enter a new password
Save the changes
