Open your phone’s Settings app
Tap Accounts or Passwords & accounts
Tap the account or service that uses your phone number (e.g., Google, Apple ID, carrier account, WhatsApp, etc.)
Select Personal info or Contact info
Choose Phone number or Mobile number
Tap Edit or Change
Enter your new phone number
Confirm with the verification code sent to the new number
Verify any prompts to update your number across the account
If you’re changing with your mobile carrier, contact your carrier or use their app to update the number
After verification, restart your phone if prompted
Check that 2FA and recovery options are updated to the new number
Update your number in key apps (e.g., WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, banking, email accounts)
Test by sending yourself a verification SMS or making a call to confirm service
