Go to the Epic Games website
Sign in to your Epic Games account
Open your account settings
Find the display name or account name section
Click the edit option next to your name
Enter your new name
Save the changes
Launch Fortnite and log in with the same Epic Games account
Wait if needed for the name change to update in-game
Note that name changes are usually limited to once every 2 weeks
