Open Netflix and start playing a title
Use the on-screen Skip Intro or Skip Recap button when it appears
If you want to skip ahead manually, tap or click the progress bar and drag to the desired time
On mobile, double-tap the right side of the screen to skip forward
On TV, use the remote’s fast-forward button to move ahead
To change playback speed, use browser extensions or device accessibility settings if supported
To reduce or remove skip prompts, adjust Netflix profile playback settings if available on your device
Restart the app if the skip button is not appearing correctly
