How to Change RPO in Passport Application?

Log in to the Passport Seva portal

Open your saved or submitted application

Check whether the application status allows changes

If editing is allowed, update the RPO or related application details

Save the changes and re-submit the application

If the RPO cannot be changed online, cancel the existing application if permitted

Create a new application with the correct RPO

Pay the fee again if required

If the application is already submitted and locked, contact the Passport Seva Help Desk

Visit the selected Passport Seva Kendra or Regional Passport Office if instructed

Carry the application reference number and supporting documents

Request correction of the RPO through the passport office process
