Sign in with an existing administrator account
Open Settings
Select Accounts
Select Family & other users
Under Other users, select the user account you want to change
Select Change account type
Open the Account type drop-down menu
Select Administrator
Select OK
Sign out and sign back in if needed
If you need to remove administrator rights, repeat the steps and select Standard User instead
