Open a web browser on a device connected to your WiFi
Enter your router’s IP address in the address bar (commonly 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1) and press Enter
Log in with your router username and password
Go to Wireless settings (or Wi‑Fi settings)
Find the option for Wi‑Fi password / WPA key / Passphrase
Enter the new Wi‑Fi password
If available, confirm the security mode (use WPA2/WPA3)
Click Save, Apply, or OK
Wait for the router to restart (if prompted)
Reconnect your devices to the Wi‑Fi using the new password
If you can’t access the router login page, check the router label for the default gateway/IP and login details
If you forgot the router login password, use the router’s reset method (press and hold the reset button) and then reconfigure Wi‑Fi settings
