Connect the Nintendo Switch AC adapter to a wall outlet
Plug the USB-C end of the AC adapter into the USB-C port on the bottom of the Switch
Place the Nintendo Switch on the dock with the AC adapter connected to the dock
Make sure the dock is connected to power
Use a compatible USB-C charger if charging without the dock
Avoid using chargers that are not designed for the Nintendo Switch
Check that the charging icon appears on the screen
Let the system charge until the battery is full
