Put the AirPods in the charging case
Close the lid
Connect the charging case to a Lightning or USB-C cable, depending on the case model
Plug the cable into a USB power adapter, computer, or other power source
For MagSafe or wireless charging cases, place the case on a Qi-compatible wireless charger with the status light facing up
Keep the case closed while charging
Check the status light or battery widget to confirm charging
Charge the case itself when the battery is low
Charge both AirPods and the case regularly to keep them ready for use
