Open the Settings app
Tap General
Tap About
Find the serial number
Copy the serial number
Use Apple’s Check Coverage page or a trusted serial number lookup tool
Decode the serial number to estimate the manufacturing date
Check the model number and production batch if available
Use the original box label if you have it
Look for the manufacturing date on the box barcode sticker
Contact Apple Support with the serial number for confirmation
