Open your Kindle
Tap the Menu or Settings icon
Select Device Options or Device Info
Look for the model name and serial number
Check the back of the device for a model number
Compare the serial number on Amazon’s Kindle help page
Check your Amazon account under Devices and Content
Use the Kindle packaging or receipt if available
