Select the object
Open the viewport Overlays menu
Enable Statistics
Read the vertex count in the top-left corner of the 3D Viewport
Enter Edit Mode to see the selected mesh vertex count
Check the status bar for mesh statistics
Use the Object Data Properties panel for mesh-related info
