Turn off the printer and unplug it
Remove the print cartridge carefully
Place the cartridge on a clean, lint-free surface
Wear gloves if needed
Use a lint-free cloth or cotton swab
Lightly dampen the cloth or swab with distilled water
Wipe the cartridge contacts gently
Clean the printhead area gently if accessible
Remove any dried ink or debris carefully
Let the cartridge dry completely
Reinstall the cartridge
Run a test print
Repeat cleaning if needed
